Three bottles bottles of deliciousness from the home of wine!

Wine has been made in Georgia since 6000BC! That's the earliest known record of winemaking, so let's just say they've figured out how to make grapes taste good. Here we present three bottles - a red, white and orange - showcasing the best of native Georgian grape varieties.

All three wines are made by members of the Dakishvili family, something of a dynasty in the Georgian wine world, and one of the very best winemaking families in Georgia today.

Orgo White - £16.00 > £14.40

Think ripe apricots and peaches with a rich textural palate balanced by a zesty freshness. This is made with a blend of native Georgian varieties - Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane & Kisi.

Kisi Amber Wine - £24.00 > £21.60

Easily one of our favourite wines of 2020, and maybe its going to be right up there again in 2021! This skin contact wine is truly beguiling and brings to mind dried apricots, marzipan and exotic spices. It’s pure golden nectar. Made in large clay pots called Quevri, the wine is perhaps one of the greatest examples of its kind coming outta Georgia today.

Saperavi, Vita Vinea - £26.00 >£23.40

Saperavi is Georgia's leading red grape and here is creates an extremely complex wine that's perfect for a rainy Sunday. It's got rich, ripe fruits and there’s an earthy note that evolves with time in the glass. Get this one decanted early to really open it up. Again, the wine is raised in Quevri which help soften the tannins and give the wine a beautiful texture.

At Peckham Cellars we try to do our bit for the environment so for every delivery we make we plant a tree to help offset its impact
